Seyi Shay hooks up with Paul Okoye, signs contract

Top female artist, Seyi Shay, has joined a list of top entertainers who have gone into business with top entertainment agency Upfront and Personal Management Company. The “Jangilova Crooner” was present at the UPGMC headquarters in Lagos on Wednesday with C.E.O Paul Okoye to sign a contract, which makes upfront and Personal her official agents with immediate effect.

Following a succession of hits like “Murda”, “Crazy” and “Jangilover” since the past year; Seyi Shay has been identified as one of the top talents to emerge at the top of the pecking order in 2015. The deal with Upfront and Personal has confirmed these permutations as many top talents who have gone into business with this agency have gone on to achieve international and local success in their respective industries.

Desmond Elliot, Nollywood Actor/Producer takes oath as lawmaker

Abuja –  Nollywood actor/producer turned politician, Desmond Elliot, on Monday was inaugurated as one of the lawmakers into the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Elliot, who is representing Surulere constituency, contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He defeated Bayo Smith, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Reacting to his inauguration, he thanked everyone who believed in him and voted for him on his facebook page.

Elliot has starred in over two hundred films and a number of television shows and soap operas.

He won best supporting actor in a drama at the 2nd Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and also nominated for best supporting actor at the 10th African Movie Academy Awards.

Man threatens to ‘kill’ MI over girlfriend

Rap royalty and Chocolate City Vice President for Music, Jude Abaga a.k.a, M.I, has disclosed that an unknown man is after his life.

He released his conversation with the young man with the phone number (09033798569) via his Twitter handle.

The youngman noted that he is been hired by a woman to kill the self-proclaimed ‘Chairman’.
